Can I use Cutline without moving to a Tidewell Studio plan or higher?

Yes. Cutline runs on the Starter plan with a reduced feature set — two active reviews and 30 days of version history. To see the whole thing, sign in or create an account and start a review.

Can I edit video, audio, and images inside Cutline?

Cutline is built for review and approval, not for cutting. Trim marks and frame notes sync back to your editor, where the actual edit happens.

Where do the media files live?

Everything stays in your Tidewell workspace. Cutline streams a proxy for review and never copies the master out of the folder you uploaded it to.

Which media formats does Cutline support?

Most delivery and mezzanine formats — MP4, MOV, ProRes, WAV, AIFF, PNG, JPEG, TIFF and layered PSD — up to 24 GB per file.

Is Cutline a web app or a desktop app? Or both?

Both. Reviewers open a link in any modern browser; editors can install the desktop panel to pull notes straight into a timeline.
