A quiet relief, honestly. Support answers within the hour and they act on the things we send in. Our studio had been looking for something shaped like this since 2019. You can hand it to a client with barely a sentence of explanation, and it quietly reports back the browser, the operating system and the window size next to a picture of whatever they were staring at.
— Odalys Brenneman, CTO
Hours returned, to us and to our clients. The Chalkmere crew answer quickly. Our clients understood it the moment the link landed in their inbox. Nothing to download and no installer to fight. Here you open the page, you point at the thing, and it behaves. Across a quarter that is several hundred hours the studio does not lose. I spent six weeks looking for the plainest option our clients could survive. A good number of them are in their fifties and sixties and would not call themselves technical. Nothing mattered except how little there was to learn. Out of eleven candidates this one was easily the gentlest.
— Sabine Toporek, Designer
Unusual, and it earns its place. A sensible meeting point for the client, the developer and whoever drew the thing. The guest option is welcome. It gives a team one precise way to talk about a page and leave a note behind. I like that it sits over the live site rather than pretending to be a copy of it.

Revisions arrive in a form we can use. What used to reach me was a wall of text listing changes with no clue which part of the page was meant. That has simply stopped. Everyone attached to the project gets a stack of hours and a few headaches back.
— Ravi Lindqvist, Founder
Chalk it, send it, move on. We are fond of it and the clients are fonder. The interface asks almost nothing of you. People who avoid software entirely still manage to leave a useful note.

Ideal for checking a build. Nothing to learn, and the toggle between desktop and handset widths is the part we reach for daily.

It behaves the way I expect. Straightforward to work with. The price sits where it should. Nothing surprised me, which is the compliment.

Explaining a bug to my developer used to mean a folder of screenshots and a phone call. Now the tool carries all of that. I had been waiting on something like this for years. Fine work, and we are grateful for it.
— Jhonatan Vireo
Recommending it without reservation. I came in on an older release and even that felt considered. A sharp idea, and the design has been looked after.
— Jerome Poulain
The strongest review tool I have found. Comfortable whether the other person is at the next desk or eight time zones away. Paperwork and crossed wires both drop away. Every note is kept in order, so settling an argument about what was agreed takes a moment rather than an afternoon.
— Michaela van Nuys, UX Developer
Painless, and it pays for itself. A genuine rescue when notes on web copy start piling up. We will be keeping it for a good while. What sticks in my mind is how little friction there is. Pulling a site in and passing it round for comment really does take under a minute. The interface is bare in the best sense, so no one has ever asked me for a walkthrough.

Nothing else copes with the constant small edits to a live site. We shipped a site, and the week we left our previous annotation product behind I realised we needed something sturdier for collecting opinion across the whole company. This is what I landed on, and every department took to it without a briefing. Support is unusually good: I described a feature I wanted in a chat window and it appeared in the product weeks later. If your work lives on websites and you need one place to hold the running conversation, raise requests and hand work to the developers, I have not found better. No more pasting links into a group chat, no more images dumped on a project board, no more paragraph-long emails describing an issue somewhere on some page in some section. Leave the note on the spot, and whoever picks up the change can find each one, answer it, or close it out.
— Alessandro Pintarelli, UX/UI Designer
Solid, and worth the money. We like it a great deal. The price matches what you get. Newcomers pick it up without help, and the reach across a team is the real prize.
— James Halloway, COO
Made for shared work on a site. Very promising so far. I want a few more projects behind me before I say more. Direct, and it wastes none of your time. The person on the other end works it out unaided. Gathering opinions is usually a mess and this team has built something calm for a fair price.
— Krisia Aguero, Co-Owner
A proper set of tools for design review. I enjoy working in it and I am glad it turned up when it did. Our week got noticeably shorter, and the team behind it keeps it in repair and keeps quietly adding to it.
— Febriana Farlow, Manager
Simply a good tool and you should be using it. Long-standing admirer, and it has rescued a few client projects already.
— Jaxon Kharel
We are coming up on a year with it. A few of us even got to meet the people who build it when they passed through last spring. You can tell how much they care about turning this into something designers and developers are happy to sit inside all day. Curious to see where they take it. The newer handling of notes on images is as calm and readable as the original canvases were the day we signed up, which is not something I expected them to manage twice.
— Katy Haruna, Digital Designer
It reshaped how we run revisions. My only regret is the years I spent not using it. Pulling feedback out of a client used to be genuinely painful. We had an annotation product for the design stage, but the moment the build began we were back to screenshots and hour-long calls with someone sharing their screen. Now the conversation happens on the page itself, which shortened our turnaround considerably.
— Lorna Haggerty, Project Manager
Website revisions stopped being a chore. On the whole I have been pleased and a little surprised. It is open on my second monitor every day and it has taken hours out of the revision cycle. Support deserves a mention too; they have never refused a small change that was needed. I would put it in front of anyone whose week is eaten by mark-up and amends. What I value most is being able to comment on the live page. Under the old arrangement we kept a document where each client change was written out longhand, then translated by hand. Now the note sits where the change belongs, so the person doing the work reads it once and understands it.
— TJ Carnahan, Project Manager
A quiet little time machine. Quick, plain, and it does not argue with you. Everything is legible enough that I can promise it hands us and our clients several hours back every week. My clients now describe what they want changed and, for the first time, I know exactly what they mean.
— Caio Norberto, Digital Project Manager
The piece that was missing between client and builder. Faultless so far. Smooth, and folding it into an existing feedback routine took an afternoon. The export into our tracker sealed it. Retire whatever revision ritual you have now; nothing else I have paid for moves comments this cleanly from one head to another.
— Renard Bulwer, Client Service Analyst
My days as a web designer got easier. The software has been excellent and my week is lighter for it. Loading several sites in and handing them to different clients takes minutes, and their notes come back where I can act on them. Building the things they asked for is the easy part now.

Somewhere to put every note. A genuinely tidy way to keep feedback in one place. It has sharpened my sense of what my customers are actually asking for. Setting it up took no time and using it takes less.
— Anonymous
We ran a full redesign through it and the back-and-forth of the review cycle collapsed from days into hours. Reads well, works the way you assume it will, and it is a considerable step up on what we had before.
— Maks Toivonen
Fond of this one. Plain, quick to learn, and it gives us back a serious amount of time each week. A good platform, easy on everybody, and generous with the hours.
