What is Alder?
Alder is a telehealth service for men. You describe what's going on, a licensed clinician in your state reviews it, and — if treatment makes sense — your prescription ships to your door in plain packaging. Refills, dose changes and follow-ups all happen in one thread.
How does Alder work?
Answer a short intake about your health history, share photos if the condition calls for it, and a clinician responds within a day. There's no video call unless you want one.
Who are the clinicians behind Alder?
Board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants licensed in the state you're writing from. Every prescription is reviewed by a named person, not an algorithm.
Do I need insurance?
No. Alder is cash-pay, so the price you see is the price you pay — consult included. We'll send an itemised receipt if you want to file it yourself.
How is my health data protected?
Your intake, messages and records are encrypted in transit and at rest, handled under HIPAA, and never sold. Shipments arrive in unmarked boxes with no product name on the label.
