We were sitting on four years of case notes nobody had time to turn into anything. Marlowe read the archive, matched our house voice, and gave us eleven usable drafts in an afternoon. Our editor still touches every line — but she starts from something, not nothing.

Finally a draft I don't have to argue with
I write long-form for three clients and the blank page was costing me maybe six hours a week. The outline tool alone paid for the year.

Cut our email production cycle from nine days to two
Our lifecycle program has 34 active sequences across five markets. Before Marlowe, localising a single flow meant a briefing call, two rounds of copy, and a week of waiting. Now the regional leads generate variants themselves against a shared brand profile and we review instead of write.
The part I did not expect: consistency actually went up, not down.

A genuinely useful tool for people who already write
Marlowe is the best of the five drafting tools I have tested. I put it through its paces writing a short field guide for our workshop clients — roughly 18,000 words — in nine days. It was strongest at ideation and at getting an ugly first pass on the page fast.
The output needed real editing and it invented one statistic I had to catch. It will not replace a good copywriter, but it will absolutely speed one up.

I stopped dreading the newsletter
Small business, no marketing hire, 2,100 subscribers who actually read us. I give it three bullet points about the month and it hands me back something that sounds like me on a good day.

Regulated industry, and it still cleared legal
I was sceptical that anything generative would survive our compliance review. We loaded our approved-claims library as a source and now every draft cites where a claim came from. Legal turnaround went from eleven days to three.

Worth it for the brand voice profile alone
Fed it 40 of our old posts. It picked up that we never use exclamation marks and that we open with a question about a third of the time. Slightly unnerving. Very useful.

My associates are writing better ads than I was
We trained seven associates on Marlowe alongside our internal process. The result is that people who had never written a headline in their lives are now producing ad copy that beats what our previous retainer agency delivered, and we plug it straight into the ad system.
Margins on that service line went from 31% to 68% in two quarters. Strange time to be running a shop.

Said "oh come on" out loud at the first draft it produced.
In a good way. Genuinely did not expect the second paragraph.
Nice work, whoever built this.

Fantastic product, better people behind it
Support answered a fairly obscure API question in under two hours, on a Sunday, with a working example. That is rarer than the software.
Enterprise
If you write anything at all, read this
If you are a copywriter, this cuts through the grey part of the job — the staring, the reordering, the fourth rewrite of an intro nobody reads. In one month I produced everything my business and my clients needed, and in the leftover hours I finally finished the book I had been carrying around since 2021.

Good at structure, honest about what it doesn't know
The flagging is the feature. When it is unsure about a fact it says so instead of confidently making something up, and that single behaviour is why my team trusts it enough to keep it in the workflow.

We ran 214 landing-page variants last quarter. That would have been impossible with two writers. Conversion on the winning variant was up 23.4% against our old control.

Replaced three subscriptions
Outline tool, headline tester, and the repurposing thing we were paying $79 a month for. All of it lives here now and the bill went down.

Made a two-person comms team feel like five
We are a small charity. Grant reports, donor updates, the annual review, plus whatever the programme leads need that week. Marlowe took the first draft off both of us and we redirected roughly 40 hours a month back into the actual work.
The tone controls matter here — donor writing and programme writing are not the same voice, and it holds the difference.
Nonprofit
Been using it daily since March. No notes. It is the first one of these I did not cancel after the trial.

Launch copy in a day instead of a fortnight
A launch used to mean the page, six emails, three ad sets, a changelog entry, and the sales one-pager — all from one very tired person. We now brief once, generate the full set, and spend our time editing for accuracy instead of generating volume.

The research panel is quietly the best part
Everyone talks about generation. The thing I use most is the side panel that pulls the three sources a claim came from so I can check it before it ships.

Took my retainer capacity from four clients to nine
Same two people, more than double the book. The bottleneck was never strategy — it was the eight hours a week each of us lost to first drafts.

Course scripting is 80% restructuring the same material for different levels. It handles that better than any human I have hired for it, and it never gets bored on module 14.

Not magic. Extremely good leverage.
People oversell these things. It will not write your strategy and it does not know your customers. What it will do is take the idea in your head and get it to 70% on the page in four minutes, which is where all the time actually goes.

The workspace roles and the shared voice profile meant I did not have to police anything. Everyone writes inside the same guardrails and I stopped being the bottleneck on brand approvals.

The rare tool the whole team actually kept using
We have bought a lot of software that ended up as a browser tab nobody opened. Six months in, Marlowe has 91% weekly active use across the practice, which for us is unheard of.
