Who we are

Halyard is a lifecycle messaging platform that lets a team turn a rough idea into a running campaign the same afternoon. Customers keep changing, and the messages they get should change with them. The tooling underneath is built for the edge cases you actually hit — not the tidy ones in a demo.

How we got started

Plenty of tools will show you what a customer did. Far fewer help you do anything about it. Halyard began in 2016 between two support engineers who were tired of exporting spreadsheets at midnight. Keeping the analytics and the sending in one place means a pair of people can ship what used to need a data pipeline.

What you can achieve

A clear read on which messages earn attention and which get muted. Build branching journeys, watch how they land, and adjust while the campaign is still running — instead of learning it from the unsubscribe rate a week later.

Every company that serves customers is really in the business of making someone's week a little easier. Halyard is good at the awkward middle cases — the ones where intent and timing refuse to line up neatly.

Four values that decide how we work

Empathy

We stay close to the people using what we build, and we assume they had a good reason.

Candour

We say the hard part out loud early, while there is still time to change course.

Ownership

Whoever notices the problem holds it until it is handed off on purpose.

Oddness

We hire for the strange angle. Sameness has never shipped anything interesting.
