Postelle started in 2021, built by a handful of people who had spent years running a mailing list of their own. We saw first hand what a direct line to a few thousand readers can do, and how little of the software made that line easy to keep.
There are far too many sharp, curious people in the world for publishing to still feel this heavy. Ranking systems and middlemen keep the reach with a few instead of the many … so we started Postelle to move it back.
We are fully remote and spread right across the map. We come from different backgrounds, companies and crafts…but we're all pulling on the same rope.
