The Tidemark Foundation team brings together builders across protocol research, engineering, operations, and grant-making — the people who keep the network usable for everyone who depends on it.
We believe a self-sustaining community is the only durable way to hold public infrastructure to a high standard of access, resilience, and transparency. Our culture runs on careful craft, accountability, and plain-spoken communication. We work remote-first and gather in person at least twice a year to strengthen the bonds that let us take on hard problems.

Funded from the Tidemark treasury

Our work in public-goods funding started with the Tidemark Grants Program, a community-led initiative that deployed $7.4M across 138 grants over nineteen months.
In March 2021, the Foundation was chartered. To date we have raised $47.3M in funding, 62% of which is earmarked for grants and incentive programs. We have committed $15.4M in grants to researchers, engineers, and founders building the tools that make it easier for people to take part in the network — and easier to leave when it no longer serves them.
