Kiln room notes

I keep a small kiln room and a very long shelf of test tiles in Porto, Portugal. Ten years ago I left a freight-logistics career to letter shopfronts full time, and I have not been bored since.

Most of what I make starts as a brush sketch on butcher paper, then gets pushed into glaze, plaster or paint until it stops arguing back.
