Took this on a four-day traverse and it sat flat through every scramble. The rolltop closes faster than it looks, and the outer sleeve swallowed a soaked shell without anything inside getting damp. Loaded to about fourteen kilos it still carried well, and the frame sheet has not gone soft after a winter of airport handling. My one note is the hip belt, which runs long on a smaller waist.

Ordered the 28 after measuring my torso twice and the fit chart was honest for once. Fabric is quieter than the pack it replaced and the lid clears a helmet without a fight. Knocked off a point for the water bottle sleeve, which is cut too shallow for anything taller than half a litre.

Third pack of theirs in eleven years. The last one carried firewood and wet rope through six coastal winters before the cuff webbing finally gave, so replacing it was never really a decision.
