I've been on this street for four and a half years. Almost everything I need is a short walk away, and I have never once felt uneasy heading home on my own after dark.

I've lived in this pocket of the city twice in the past decade. It's a great spot. Easy walk to the town center and there are terrific places to eat right here.

We love our tucked-away community up on the ridge. The coffee bar knows my order, the diner staff know us by name, we throw a ball around the park with our neighbors' dogs, and they joke with our kids. We pick up litter off the street, our neighbors sweep the walk. Everyone pitches in.

The wide views of the harbour and the skyline, the bridge lights, and the old brick houses make it feel like a big city, but the block itself still feels like a small town.
