Urvale

Ever wondered how Urvale actually works?

Every day millions of people open Urvale to pick up a skill, follow a craft they love, or simply switch off for half an hour. Over the years the same questions keep arriving, so we built this site to answer them plainly — and to show the work behind a platform the viewers, creators and studios in our community can rely on.

Where we stand

A closer look at the work behind the platform.

Making Urvale safer

At the heart of our approach are four steps — we remove videos that break our policies, reduce the reach of borderline uploads, raise trusted sources when a topic matters, and reward the channels that clear a higher bar before they earn from advertising.

In the last quarter, 94.3% of the videos we took down were caught by our own review systems before a single person reported them, and 78% of those were removed before they reached ten views. A standing team of 2,140 reviewers works across 47 languages, and every enforcement decision can be appealed by the person who posted it.

Making Urvale more secure

Whatever you come here to watch, your account should feel like yours alone. Sign-in alerts, hardware-key support and a plain-language activity log are switched on by default — there is no settings maze to hunt through first.

We publish what we collect, how long we keep it, and what leaves our servers, in language a person can actually read.
