I'm a ceramicist. Build a calm one-page site for my studio — portrait first, then a short intro and the collection.

Umberlathe

Working from your brief, I'll put together a single-page studio site with a calm palette, generous spacing and photography doing most of the talking. The emphasis is on quiet hierarchy and markup you can ship.

What I'll build:

  • Opening band with a portrait and a two-line intro
  • Collection grid, each piece linking to its own page
  • Cards that lift a little on pointer focus
  • Materials and kiln-schedule explainer
  • Enquiry block with studio hours and a map pin
  • Soft scroll cues between bands
  • Layouts tuned for phone, tablet and desktop

Palette and type:

  • Stoneware neutrals with warm clay (#a2542c), deep bark (#162922) and a slate wash (#35566b)
  • Type set in one grotesque, 1.55 line spacing across body copy and captions

I shape quiet, useful objects for everyday tables — wheel-thrown in small batches and glazed with ash and river clay.
