Why Kestrely

Getting sign-off shouldn’tcost you a whole Friday

Where Kestrely came from, and what we are still steering it toward.

I built the first version of Kestrely because sign-off at my old studio was chaos, and none of the tools we tried fit the way we really worked.

Crops pasted into chat, notes buried three replies deep in email, a client typing “move it left” with no way to say which it. Every launch week ended with somebody stitching the real list back together from memory.

What was already on the market billed us per reviewer, hid the useful half behind a sales call, or asked the client to install a plugin before saying a word.

So we started from a plainer question: what would this feel like if the person leaving the note never had to sign up for anything at all?
