A membership tier is a monthly subscription that adds financial benefits on top of the free Cliquet account. There are two of them:
Your tier renews on the same date each month and the fee comes out of your Cliquet balance. Cancel from the app at any point and you keep the benefits until the billing period runs out.
Cashback lands in your balance within three working days of a purchase settling. Interest is worked out daily and paid on the first of the month. Monthly offers refresh at midnight on the first and expire at the end of the billing cycle.
Tiers are open to residents aged 18 and over with an active Cliquet balance account. A brushed card ships within seven working days of the request. One tier can be held per account.

1 Cliquet membership tiers are offered together with Balancier Bank for a monthly fee. Cancel at any time in the app. Exclusions, conditions and limits apply to tier benefits; the Cliquet Membership Terms govern. The monthly value figure reflects the total benefits available on a tier, including every waived fee, cashback amount and credit. Actual results vary with how much of the tier you use.
2 Deposits in your balance account are held at Balancier Bank, Member FDIC. Cliquet is not itself an FDIC-insured bank and deposit insurance covers only the failure of Balancier Bank. Deposits in the balance account are eligible for pass-through deposit insurance where the relevant conditions are met. Funds may be released to you before Balancier Bank receives them ("early availability funds"); those funds may not be FDIC insured until received by the bank. Credit drawn on the Cliquet Flex Card is not FDIC insured and is not a deposit.
3 Limits, conditions and restrictions apply to benefits such as membership cashback.
4 Split Four is applied for in advance, issued by Balancier Bank, and carries a service fee between $1 and $4. Worked example: a $180 purchase with a $45 down payment and a $3 service fee gives a 22.4% APR, followed by three further biweekly payments of $45 (total repayment $183). Subject to credit approval; a minimum 25% down payment is required.
5 Annual percentage yield (APY) accurate as of 14 May 2026 and subject to change at any time. Fees may reduce APY earnings. A Cliquet balance account and an activated Flex Card are required to be eligible for APY earnings.
6 The $9 credit on a first purchase is available on Chronometer and above for orders over $9, using the Cliquet app and paying with Cliquet at a partner store checkout, valid for 30 days from the moment you join. A further $9 credit follows every third month of an active tier on any order above $9, again using the Cliquet app at a partner store checkout, and is valid for the relevant billing cycle. Purchases made with a single-use card or the Cliquet Credit Card are excluded. If you return all or part of an order and the final amount falls below $9, the credit no longer applies. Cliquet Offers cannot be combined and can be used once. Cliquet may modify credits offered based on availability, retailer participation or technical issues. Credits will not appear on any receipt from the partner store — please refer to your Cliquet receipt instead. Cliquet may earn a commission.
7 Chronometer and higher tiers get twelve monthly offers at twelve selected stores (up to a maximum of $74/month), one offer per store per monthly billing cycle. Use the Cliquet app to pay with Cliquet at the store's checkout. Cliquet Offers cannot be combined and can be used once. Offers may be modified based on availability, retailer participation or technical issues. Offers will not appear on any receipt from the partner store — please refer to your Cliquet receipt instead. Cliquet may earn a commission.
