Rallies Starter Guide

Rallies are our newest ad format, built to bring players into a game rather than interrupt them. Players earn rewards — in-game items, profile frames, banner art — by finishing a Rally objective, which can mean watching a trailer, playing a match, or streaming a session to friends for a set stretch of time.

For players, a Rally is a low-friction way to find a game worth their evening and walk away with something for the effort.

Rallies surface in the Discovery rail, in the reward drawer above your friends list, and as a dismissible card inside any community you have opted into.

Rallies run in 31 markets today across North America, the EU, the UK, Brazil, Japan, and Australia, with four more markets scheduled before the end of the quarter.

Three: Watch, for trailer-led awareness; Play, for time-in-game objectives; and Stream, for players who share a session with their community.

Rewards are set by the studio running the campaign — typically a cosmetic, a currency bundle, or a limited profile decoration that stays in the player's inventory permanently.

Every active Rally you qualify for sits in the Rally drawer, and completed ones stay in your history for 90 days so you can re-claim anything you missed.

Pricing is quoted per completed objective and varies by format and market. Campaigns start at 4,800 completions; our partnerships team will scope a rate card with you.

Yes. Studios make up roughly 72% of Rallies today, but film, music, and consumer brands run Watch and Stream formats with a co-branded reward.
