Is TotalCover for Hosts free?

Yes. It applies automatically to every stay booked and paid for through Nestara, with no add-on fee and nothing to switch on.

Where is TotalCover for Hosts available?

In 189 of the 194 countries and regions where Nestara operates. Local rules change the detail in a handful of markets — the terms page lists them.

What's the difference between damage protection and liability cover?

Damage protection reimburses you for harm to your home and your things. Liability cover responds when a guest is hurt, or their property is damaged, during a stay.

How does TotalCover work alongside my own insurance?

TotalCover sits on top of your own policy rather than replacing it. We still recommend keeping homeowner or landlord cover in place for anything that happens outside a booked stay.

Are there damages that aren't covered?

Ordinary wear, cash, pre-existing faults and shared or common areas you do not control fall outside the programme. The terms page carries the full exclusion list.

How do I get reimbursed, and how long does it take?

File in the Resolution Centre within 14 days of checkout with photos and a repair or replacement estimate. Straightforward claims closed in a median of 6 days last quarter.

Do guests get TotalCover too?

They do — TotalCover for Guests covers booking protection, a rehousing team and a 24-hour safety line, and it is also included at no cost.
