“Verita is giving voice through skin care as a direct-to-consumer company that leans on personal narrative to shape how beauty gets talked about online.”
As a brand that puts skin first, Verita is redrawing the beauty industry by fusing what our community tells us with the editorial instincts behind our long-running journal, The Rinse, to make a line of intuitive, genuinely enjoyable products that work hard for you (not the other way around). Together, we’re bringing the experience of shopping for — and talking about — beauty into the future.
We work to make everyday routines feel considered. We earn our community’s trust, and we try to leave people better off with every decision we make.
We think big, take real risks, and know that nerve is what makes new things possible. We say the hard thing early and we push each other to do the same.
We bring rigour and integrity to the pursuit of quality. We chase the “why”, welcome healthy disagreement, and look two moves ahead before deciding.
We practise inclusion by building and growing wide-ranging teams. We seek out other points of view, listen closely, and collaborate with real empathy.
We challenge our own assumptions, ask the extra question, and grow from the misses. We learn eagerly so we can understand the world our customers live in.
We are individually and collectively answerable for how Verita does. We set goals with teeth, measure honestly, and keep hitting the number we said we would.
Our Tidewater Volunteer Time Off (“VTO”) programme exists to help people get involved in the causes that matter most to them. We offer 5 days per calendar year for employees to volunteer.

No-cost medical, dental, and vision cover — Verita pays 100% of the premiums. Plus mental-health benefits, direct primary care, an annual wellbeing stipend, and caregiver support.
Generous parental leave of 20 weeks for all parents, with a transition back to work following leave. Access to fertility and family-planning reimbursement, plus resources for the whole journey.
Generous paid time off, plus a one-month paid sabbatical after your first 4 years. Access to leave programmes for care of yourself and your family when you need it, plus time off to volunteer.
Company equity awards. A retirement plan with employer match, 100% employer-sponsored life and disability cover, and voluntary supplemental life insurance.
Internal mobility programmes to support career growth. Verita Talks speaker series and learning sessions, plus exclusive fireside chats with thought leaders and inspirational founders.

“The most rewarding part of my job is building that sense of belonging — making sure the team feels cared for, supported, rewarded, and celebrated for the work they do.”Meet Marcus

“The part of the creative process that never gets credit is the finessing. For every product we make, we go through rounds of physical sampling until each element — texture, material, colour — is right.”Meet Noelle
