We're here to build the best learning in the world and make it available to everyone. Our team works to keep language practice playful, free, and effective for anyone who wants to pick up a new tongue, wherever they happen to be.
our story
Bramble was founded in 2014 by Nadia Ferreira and Tomas Lindqvist. The app shipped in 2015 and has grown into one of the most used ways to pick up a language, with courses in 41 tongues and a community that spans most of the map.

We're headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Known as the harbour city, it's where we're turning language practice into a way in for millions of people around the world. We also keep offices in Lisbon, Austin, Taipei, and Berlin.
