The Questions We Hear Most

Below are the answers we share most often with the families and adults who come to us. If the one you need is missing, send a note and someone on our team will write back.

Talk to us

Before You Begin

What sort of care does Solvane provide?

Solvane runs speech, play and daily-living therapy for neurodivergent children and adults at every stage of life — from the first year through later adulthood. Programs for ages 0 to 4 are open now, and more are arriving each season.

Is a formal diagnosis required to start with us?

No. Most families begin with a short intake call, and our clinicians will tell you whether an assessment would help before any program starts.

Do you run an in-person program at a clinic?

Yes. Two neighbourhood rooms host small-group sessions four days a week, and both are set up for siblings and carers to stay in the room.

Who can enrol in a program?

Anyone living in a region we serve. We prioritise households already waiting on a public list, then open remaining places each quarter.

Are sessions covered by insurance?

Many plans reimburse part of the fee. Send us your policy number and we will confirm the covered portion in writing within three days.

Sessions & Scheduling

Where will our sessions happen?

At home, at your child's school, in one of our two rooms, or on a video call — whichever setting makes the work easiest to carry into daily life.

How long does one session run?

Most run 45 minutes, with a 15-minute handover so carers leave knowing exactly what to practise before the next visit.

How many times a week do we meet?

Twice weekly to begin with. After the sixth week we review progress together and often step down to a single visit.

What if we relocate?

Tell us early and we will move you to video sessions, or pass your notes to a clinic near the new address with your consent.
