Browse the full slate, play the trailers, and when a title grabs you press Watch. You will be asked for a card on the next screen, and any gift code you are holding can be entered there as well. We then send a link to your inbox holding the rental details and a Play button that opens the film in your browser. If you would rather keep a library of everything you have watched, set up a Gorse profile first from the person icon in the top bar, then use that same address at checkout so the two records match. Rentals appear in your profile a minute or two after the payment clears.
Yes. Sign in on the television app, or send the picture across from a browser tab using your usual casting shortcut.
It depends on the film. Distribution rights are negotiated territory by territory, and each title page lists where it can be streamed.
A rental plays on one profile at a time, so a household can share it, but two simultaneous streams will interrupt each other.
Check the junk folder first. If it is still missing after ten minutes, the charge probably never settled and nothing has left your account.
Write to us at orders@gorsefilms.com. A missing note usually traces back to a declined card or a typo in the address we were given, so please quote your order number when you get in touch and we will pick it up from there.
Only while the order still reads as unpacked. Send us the corrected address the same day and we will try to catch it before it leaves the warehouse.
Domestic orders are picked within two working days and normally arrive inside a week. Tracking is attached to the dispatch email.
Unworn goods can go back within 30 days of delivery. Posters and signed prints are final sale because they cannot be resold once unrolled.
You have 30 days to press play, and 12 hours to finish the film once you have started it.
Yes, as often as you like inside the 12-hour window. Your position is remembered on every device tied to the profile.
You do. The clock starts the moment you press play and runs its full length even if the 30-day window closes underneath it.
No. Interviews, deleted scenes and commentary sit behind the same window as the feature and close with it.
Occasionally. A handful of premieres run on a fixed number of seats, and once those are taken the page switches to a waiting list.
A privacy relay or office network can place you somewhere else entirely. Turn it off, reload the page, and the film should unlock.
Purchases stream from your profile rather than downloading. The licence we hold does not extend to a file you keep locally.
If you tick the box at checkout. Cards are held by our payment processor, never on our own servers, and you can drop them at any point.
Use the person icon in the middle of the top bar, then follow the prompts on screen. The same icon takes you back in later if you want to review or change anything you saved.
Merchandise can go through as a guest. Rentals need a profile so the film has somewhere to live once you have paid.
Pick the reset link under the sign-in form. A single-use link lands in your inbox and stays valid for an hour.
Anything you have already paid for sits in your profile once you are signed in, or you can open it straight from the Watch Now button in your receipt.
Five at once. Retiring an old one from the profile page frees a slot immediately.
Not every one. Where a director has given us something, an Extras strip appears under the player.
Always.
Open the speech-bubble control in the player bar and choose a track. The choice carries over to whatever you watch next.
Any desktop or laptop browser released in the last few years will do, along with a broadband or fibre line — a slow tethered connection will stutter. The full list of what we test against sits below.
The four major engines, each on its two most recent releases. Older builds usually play but we cannot promise it.
Anything still receiving security updates from its maker. Beyond that the playback module tends to fail on start.
Yes, in the browser or the handheld app. Downloads for offline viewing are not part of a rental.
On most living-room platforms, yes. Search the store on your set for Gorse and sign in with the same address.
Nine times in ten it is an extension blocking the player. Load the film in a private window to rule that out first.
Turn hardware acceleration off in your browser settings and reload. Older graphics drivers are the usual culprit.
The stream steps down when bandwidth drops. Around 8 Mbps holds a clean picture; below 3 Mbps it will buffer.
No. Our billing system cannot issue partial refunds.
Member codes are tied to one profile and will be refused at another checkout. Gift cards can be handed on freely.
Check the expiry date and that the code has not already been spent, then send it to us and we will look it up.
