merchants ask
What do you bill for generating a return shipping label?
Return labels carry no fee of their own. Cormora reads the carrier rates you already hold and prints against them, so the freight lands on your own account at the price you negotiated, with no markup and no hidden margin.
Can one shopper send back several items in a single return?
Yes. One request can hold as many lines as the order contains, and each line can resolve differently — a different size, a different colour, or money back to the original card.
How is border clearance managed on returned parcels?
Paperwork is raised the moment a label is issued, using the commodity codes held on the original outbound shipment. Nothing has to be keyed a second time by your warehouse team.
Who covers duty and tax on cross-border returns?
You choose per lane. Charges can sit with the shopper at the door, be absorbed on your account, or be reclaimed automatically where the destination allows a refund of import duty.
How does Cormora treat customs records?
Declarations are stored for seven years in the region they were filed in, and only the fields a broker needs are ever passed on. Everything else stays inside your own workspace.
How do you send invoices?
One statement on the third working day of each month, itemised by store and by lane. It arrives as a PDF and as a ledger file your finance team can import directly.
What does Cormora cost?
A flat platform fee plus a small charge on each resolved return. Volume above 8,000 returns a quarter moves onto a banded rate that we agree before it takes effect.
How do payouts reach my account?
Refunds run back through the same processor that took the original payment, so your reconciliation stays intact. Balances settle in your home currency on a weekly cycle.
Is there a setup or onboarding fee?
None. A solutions engineer walks the first two lanes with you at no charge, and most stores are taking live returns inside eleven days of signing.
Does Cormora fit the tools I run?
There are ready connectors for the common storefronts, warehouse systems and helpdesks, and a documented REST layer with webhooks for anything built in house.
How is my data kept safe?
Encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in the region you pick, and audited against SOC 2 Type II each year. Access inside our team is scoped by role and logged.
Is there a cap on how many teammates can use the account?
No. Seats are unlimited on every plan, because the people answering tickets should not be the reason a return sits waiting. Permissions are set per role, not per head.
What if I decide to stop using it?
Give us 30 days and the agreement closes at the end of the term. You leave with a full export of every return, label and declaration, in an open format.
