Answers to the usual
Is my content used to train Duskwell Assist?
We hold to our published information handling standards, so your work stays encrypted at rest and in transit. Duskwell Assist never trains on your pages unless you opt in to a specific request.
Anything you send through Duskwell Assist may pass to the model providers we work with, and only for the purpose of returning the result you asked for. Each of those providers is bound by written terms that forbid retaining or training on customer material. The full detail lives in our Duskwell security and data handling notes, which we revise whenever a provider changes.
Where do I download past receipts?
Open Space settings, then Billing. Every receipt from the past 24 months sits there as a PDF, and a workspace owner can forward copies to a finance address automatically.
Which cards and wallets can I pay with?
Most major credit and debit cards, plus the tap-to-pay wallet built into your phone. Spaces on the yearly plan with more than 40 seats can ask us to invoice instead.
What counts as a card in Duskwell?
A card is the smallest unit you can move around a page: a heading, a paragraph, a table row, an embedded sketch. Everything you build here is made of them.
What if a Starter space passes its card limit?
Nothing is deleted. Existing pages stay readable and exportable, and you can keep editing them; adding brand-new cards pauses until a seat is upgraded or older spaces are archived.
Are there reduced rates for students?
Yes. Verify a school-issued address and the personal plan opens up at no cost, with Assist credits refreshed each term. Verification is re-checked once a year.
How do the reporting tiers differ?
Starter shows a 7-day activity roll-up. Studio keeps 13 months of page and search history. Council adds per-space exports, retention controls and a read-only audit stream.
How is the monthly total worked out?
Take the per-seat rate for your plan and multiply it by the number of billed members on the day the invoice is cut. Yearly spaces pay the same figure twelve times over, discounted by 18%.
What am I billed when a teammate joins?
A prorated amount covering the days left in the current cycle, charged the moment they accept. From the next invoice onward they appear as a full seat.
How does inviting and removing people work?
Owners invite by address or shared link. Removing someone frees the seat immediately and leaves a credit on the space, which is applied against the following invoice.
Which members count toward billing?
Anyone who can edit or comment. Viewers, external reviewers and bots you connect through the API are free, no matter how many of them a space collects.
What occurs if I move to another tier?
Moving up takes effect at once and you pay only the difference for the remaining days. Moving down waits for the cycle to close, so nothing is lost mid-month.
How do I end a paid subscription?
Billing settings, then End plan. The space keeps every paid feature until the term you already paid for runs out, then quietly drops back to Starter.
What if a charge is declined, say an expired card?
We retry three times across 14 days and email every owner in between. Access carries on throughout that window, so a lapsed card never locks anyone out of their pages.
Can I swap the card on file later?
Any owner can replace it under Billing at any point. The new card is charged from the next cycle, and we run a small authorisation to confirm it before then.
How are refunds handled?
Write to the billing desk within 30 days of a charge and we send the money back to the original card. Bank clearing usually adds another five working days.
What if my country requires a refund window?
Local statutory rights always come first. Where a longer cooling-off period applies, we honour that period instead of our own, with no need to argue the point.
