Parhelia doesn't replace your primary care physician (PCP). It sits alongside conventional care and concentrates on advanced diagnostics and prevention. Where your PCP or concierge doctor manages your day-to-day health, Parhelia runs a deeper, data-led evaluation designed to surface risk long before symptoms do.
After your assessment, our clinical team pulls every result into one plain-language report that ranks the findings that matter most and pairs each of them with something you can actually act on.
You'll go through the results one-on-one with a Parhelia physician, so nothing in the report is left to interpretation. You also meet a registered dietitian and an exercise physiologist for guidance on the long-term plan. The full report is yours to share with your own doctor, who can fold its findings into your wider care.
A standard annual physical covers roughly a dozen blood markers. A Parhelia assessment reads just over 140, alongside whole-body and cardiac imaging, cardiopulmonary testing, and a cognitive baseline. Close to a third of the people we see feel entirely well and still leave with at least one finding worth acting on early.
A Parhelia physician calls you before the report is released, usually within two days of the finding. From there we arrange confirmatory testing, write the referral to the right specialist, and stay in the loop until you have a plan in hand. Nothing urgent is ever delivered to you by email alone.
Members range from 28 to 79, with the median around 46. Earlier assessments are mostly about establishing a baseline you can measure against for decades; later ones tend to change something concrete in how a condition is managed. There is no upper limit as long as the imaging protocol is safe for you.
Our chief medical officer is Dr. Ilana Petrossian, an internist who spent eleven years in preventive cardiology. She works with Dr. Marcus Obeng on imaging and Dr. Sena Halvorsen on metabolic health, supported by 24 clinicians across our four assessment centres.
