Answers to common questions

Why is access limited right now?

Lanternfell Studio is still in early access, so the team ships changes most weekdays. Letting people in a group at a time keeps the render queue honest, and it gives us room to act on what the first few thousand makers tell us before the doors open wide.

How soon will my invite arrive?

Invites go out every Tuesday and Thursday in batches of roughly 400. Most people wait somewhere between nine and eighteen days; if you signed up with a studio address, you are usually pulled forward a batch or two.

What will the toolkit cost me?

Nothing during early access. When pricing lands there will be a free tier with a monthly render budget, and a paid plan around $17 a month for unlimited scenes, longer history and commercial rights.

What happens to the files I upload?

Your scenes stay yours. We store them encrypted, we do not train shared models on private projects, and you can wipe a workspace and everything in it from the account panel at any time.

Where does Lanternfell Studio fall short today?

Rigged characters and cloth simulation are not in yet, exports are limited to three mesh formats, and very dense scenes above about 4 million triangles will slow the editor down. All three are on the near-term list.

Something else on your mind? Ask the team.

Write to hello@lanternfell.studio and a person on the product side will answer, usually the same working day. If it is a bug, a short screen recording gets it fixed far faster than a description.
