About Alderway Certified

Why would a credential from us be worth my time?

Teams run more of their day-to-day work inside a shared workspace than they did five years ago, and the people who can shape that workspace are the ones who get pulled into the interesting projects. A credential gives your judgement a name other people recognise.

Which tracks can I sit?

Debit and credit cards from the major networks all work, as do bank transfers in eleven currencies. For orders above $8,400 your account manager can raise an invoice instead.

Can I buy on behalf of a colleague or a whole team?

Yes. The six steps below cover a prep course, an exam or a bundle bought for someone else.

  1. Create an Alderway Certified account
  2. Open the track card for Operator, Advisor or Builder
  3. Pick the course, the exam or the bundle, then choose Buy
  4. On the order page use the quantity stepper to set how many seats you need
  5. Complete checkout with the card or invoice details you prefer
  6. You land on the Seat Handover page, which hands you a link you can pass on

Heads up: once you leave the Seat Handover screen the link cannot be generated a second time, so copy it somewhere safe before you close the tab.

Getting ready for your exam

What if I need testing accommodations?

Prep course support: every lesson is built against the current release of the desktop and mobile screen readers, and captions ship with each recording. The reading guide lists the browsers we test on and the shortcuts that go with them.

Exam day support: our proctoring partner meets ADA requirements and can arrange screen readers, extra time, scheduled breaks or a separate room. If a disability, health condition or other barrier means a standard sitting will not work for you, write to the accessibility desk with the following:

Requests are reviewed one at a time, and the decision rests with the accessibility desk rather than the proctor. Depending on what you have asked for we may come back for a little more detail, or for documentation, before the arrangement is confirmed.

How should I study before the sitting?

Work through the prep course end to end, then rebuild the two sample workspaces from a blank slate without the walkthrough open. Most candidates who pass first time spend somewhere near eleven hours across three weeks rather than one long weekend.
