Plans & billing
Every Jorvale board renders on our own frame servers, and that cost lands on us the moment a file opens. A paid floor keeps the render queue fast for the studios who live in it all day, rather than subsidising idle seats.
Absolutely. If your team qualifies for our community rate, we take 40% off the yearly price on any studio plan. Just reach out and tell us a little about the work you do — most requests come back approved inside a week.
Workspaces carry three levels: Producer, Editor and Reviewer. Producers manage seats and billing, Editors open and change boards, and Reviewers can leave notes but never alter a frame.
Open Workspace settings, choose Membership, then Wind down. Your boards stay readable for 90 days after the last paid period closes, so nothing disappears while you decide.
Yes, in either direction. Moving to yearly bills the difference straight away; moving back to monthly takes effect once the current term runs out.
Most workspaces pay by card. Teams of twelve seats or more can request bank transfer with 30-day terms, and we can raise a purchase order if your finance team needs one.
Any Producer can do it from the Seats panel. Invitations go out instantly, and a released seat frees up the moment the person signs out of their last session.
We prorate to the day. Added seats appear as a partial charge on the next invoice; removed seats become a credit that is applied before anything else is billed.
The basics
For editing, yes. Viewing, commenting and handoff links are always open to anyone you share them with, and those guests never occupy a seat.
You can. Your key keeps working on the release it shipped with, and we credit whatever it cost against your first year on a studio plan.
Boards sit in encrypted object storage in the region you pick when the workspace is created — currently Frankfurt, Toronto or Singapore. Backups stay inside that same region.
Only the people you invite, plus anyone holding a share link you generated. Our support engineers cannot open a board without a written request from a Producer.
Native desktop builds cover the two most recent major releases on both desktop platforms we support, and the browser editor runs anywhere with hardware acceleration. Review and comments also work on tablets.
Studio program
Send us three recent projects and the names of the leads who worked on them. Once two of your producers pass the certification review, your studio goes on the public directory.
