Scouts sit at the front of that process, and every introduction you send is credited to you in your scout dashboard.

Anyone with a free Gantrell account can scout. You do not need to be a member of the talent roster, and you do not need a recruiting background — most of our active scouts are operators, founders and former colleagues of the teams they refer.

Teams of roughly 12 people and up that are already paying for contract help — product studios, healthcare software groups, logistics platforms and in-house innovation teams all convert well. If a company is hiring two or more contractors this quarter, it is worth an introduction.

Aim for the person who owns the budget for contract work: a head of engineering, a VP of product, or a delivery lead. Talent partners are a good second choice. Introductions routed through a general inbox take far longer to reach a decision.

Open a Gantrell account, accept the scout terms, and your personal scout link is generated the same day. The link carries your attribution for 180 days, so a company that reads your note in March and signs in June is still counted as yours.

Yes. Submit the company name and the contact you plan to reach before you write to them, and we will tell you within a day whether it is already claimed by another scout. Claiming first is what protects your credit on the account.

Scouts earn 2.4% of every invoice the company pays through Gantrell, with no ceiling and no cap on how many companies you introduce. A mid-sized team running three contractors returns roughly $3,180 to its scout over a first-year engagement.

Payouts clear on the 12th of the month after the company settles its invoice. The first one usually lands about six weeks after a contractor starts, and every following payout runs on that same monthly cycle.

To whichever payout method you set in your scout dashboard — a bank transfer in 34 currencies, or a balance you keep on account and draw down later. You can change the method at any point before a cycle closes.
