How do I find out if I qualify?

During the pilot, the Bramwick Sponsor Desk works with writers who meet three conditions.

  1. Roughly 12,500 readers who actually open what you send.
  2. A steady publishing cadence — once a week or better.
  3. An active Bramwick account.

Three further points are worth reading first.

We usually place ads on an exclusive basis, which means the desk brokers every paid slot in your issue. (Thirty days’ notice ends that whenever you want.) Non-exclusive arrangements do happen, so ask.

A placement carries one image, two or three short paragraphs of copy, and a single call to action — worth checking that the shape of it suits the way your issue reads.

You will also drop a short “Sponsor this issue” block onto your site. Enquiries route straight to the desk, so nothing lands in your inbox once it is live.

Where do I apply?

Use the invite form on this page. It takes about four minutes and asks for your archive link, your send rhythm and the topics you cover.

How quickly does revenue begin?

Most writers see a first booked slot within three to five weeks of joining, depending on how well their subject matches what buyers are looking for that quarter.

What counts as an exclusive deal?

It means the desk is the only party selling paid placements in your issue. You keep every other slot — house promotions, swaps and affiliate links stay yours.

How long is the exclusive term?

It runs month to month with a thirty-day exit. Nobody is locked into a year, and pausing for a season costs nothing.

Can I turn down a brand?

Always. Every booking comes to you for approval before it is confirmed, and you can keep a standing block-list of categories you never want to run.

Any conditions beyond the basics?

Only two. Keep your list clean of bought addresses, and label paid placements clearly for readers. Both are checked at intake and reviewed once a quarter.

Does Bramwick handle my house ads?

No — self-promotion, cross-recommendations and anything you sell yourself stay entirely under your control. The desk only touches paid third-party slots.

What should I expect to make?

Rates are quoted per thousand opens and currently land between $28 and $46, moving with subject matter and season. A list of 14,300 opens usually earns $410–$660 a placement.

When does payout land?

On the 8th of the month after a placement runs. The desk carries the collection risk, so a slow-paying buyer never delays your side of it.

In what form is payout sent?

Straight to the bank account on your profile, in your local currency where we support it. Statements are itemised per issue and downloadable as a spreadsheet.

What is Bramwick’s cut?

We keep 18% of what a placement sells for. Nothing else is deducted — no listing charge, no minimum, no fee for a month you decide to sit out.

My question isn’t listed.

Write to the desk at desk@bramwick.example and a person — not a queue — will answer, usually inside a working day.
