Sightrod's Site Survey Standards set the reference frame for everything we deliver in the field: the instruments we trust, the tolerances we hold, and the way a plan reads once it leaves the office. It fixes our datum, our naming conventions and our drawing rules so every parcel we hand over stays legible to the next crew. Use this document to align field staff and subcontracted crews on how we observe, reduce and lodge boundary work across rural, coastal and urban sites.
1. Purpose
This document defines the measurement baseline behind every plan Sightrod issues. It keeps accuracy, notation and traceability consistent across all deliverables — from field books and reduction sheets to lodged plans and client reports.
