Access to the Platform
These terms take effect on 12 February 2026 and govern your use of the Barycent dashboard, the mobile apps, the developer API and every other service we operate under the barycent.example domain. By opening an account, inviting a teammate or moving a single transfer through us, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the entity you represent.
You must be authorised to bind that entity, be at least 18 years old, and give us accurate registration details. We may ask for ownership documents, tax identifiers or a director's identification at any point while your account is open, and we may suspend access to the platform until we receive them.
Ownership and Licence
The platform, its interface, its documentation and the Barycent name remain ours. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use them for your own business purposes for as long as your account is in good standing. You may not copy the interface, resell access, or use automated agents to extract data outside the published API rate limits of 1,180 requests per minute.
Anything you upload — statements, invoices, vendor records, ledger exports — stays yours. You grant us only the licence we need to host it, index it for search, and display it back to the people you have invited to your workspace.
Account Data and Privacy
How we collect, store and share account data is set out in the Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms. In short: we process what we need to run your accounts, meet our obligations under anti-money-laundering rules, and keep the ledger accurate. We do not sell it.
You are responsible for what your teammates do with the access you give them. Review your workspace roles when someone leaves, and rotate API keys at least once every 90 days.
Deposit disclosure. Barycent is a financial technology company, not a bank. Deposit accounts and related services are provided by Corvane Trust Company, N.A., Member FDIC. Cross-border transfers are handled by our licensed transfer partner and are not deposit products.
