Work that rewrites biology.
Teams that rewrite the rules.

Right now, we’re growing the curious, generous and deeply multidisciplinary team that will teach machines to design proteins — and bring programmable medicines within everyone’s reach.

Priya Nadella, Director, Talent

“We are set on changing how medicines get made — and we know it will take an unusually wide mix of minds to do it differently.”

How hiring works at Lattice

Intro conversation

A relaxed first call to swap context — your story, our mission, and whether there’s a real fit worth exploring.

Technical exercise

A scoped, paid take-home you complete on your own time, followed by a walkthrough with the team.

Role deep-dive

Focused interviews with the people you’d work beside, going deep on the problems the role actually owns.

Meet leadership

A conversation with the hiring lead and management team about direction, growth and how you’d shape the mission.

The offer

If everything clicks, we move fast — a clear offer and a warm welcome onto the team.

Elias Rohonen, Research Scientist, Protein Design

“When we say the work here is genuinely interdisciplinary, we mean it. The teams are woven together — we make each other sharper.”

Does Lattice allow hybrid working?
Many roles are hybrid or fully remote. Wet-lab and hardware roles are on-site; most research and engineering roles are flexible.
What benefits do you provide?
Meaningful equity, comprehensive health cover, generous leave, a learning budget and relocation support where relevant.
Do you sponsor visas and relocation?
Yes — we sponsor visas and support relocation for eligible roles, and we’ll walk you through it early in the process.

About the hiring process

Can I apply for more than one role?
Of course. If a couple of roles fit, apply to each — or send a general application and we’ll route you to the best match.
When should I expect to hear back?
We aim to respond within a week of applying, and to keep you updated at every stage after that.
Can I get accommodations for the interview?
Absolutely. Tell us what you need and we’ll adjust the format, timing or setting so you can do your best work.
