Halina Voss

Halina runs the identification programme at the Northern Fungarium Trust. She is also a fellow of the Woodland Sciences Council and has taught seasonal foraging safety for more than twenty years.

Over that stretch she has led walks for every sort of group, from primary school cohorts and city allotment clubs to postgraduate survey teams, and wrote the pocket manual 'Reading the Forest Floor'.

Her work travels well past the treeline: she presented the woodland strand of a long-running nature broadcast, advised two museum exhibitions, and now records the seasonal audio guide 'Under Bark'.
