Lanternsea II

Why does the tide answer when Wren sings to it? Six winters after the harbour was saved, a signal drifts in from the drowned archipelago beyond the reef — a voice that knows her name and the name of the mother she never met. To follow it, Wren must leave the only town that ever kept her safe and sail into water no chart has held since the old cartographers went quiet. In Lanternsea, she learned the sea would listen. In Lanternsea II, she has to find out what it wants in return.
