About us

Lantern Field is built for people who like their comedy close enough to feel dangerous.

We turn independent rooms, libraries, basements and civic halls into a city-wide stage. Our programme pairs established performers with the newest voices on the circuit, with accessible tickets and a welcome that extends well beyond the front row.

Produced by a small team of performers, technicians and enthusiastic list-makers, the festival has grown through patient partnerships with local venues and audiences.
