Brambleworks Forum

This is not another stage-and-lanyard conference.

We gather sixty designers, founders and builders who still make time for the details. No sprawling expo floor, no hurried badge scans—just candid talks, generous workshops and meals shared around one long table.

The aim is simple: leave with stronger questions, new collaborators and the energy to make the next thing with care.

01Small enough for everyone to meet.
02Built around practice, not promotion.
03Local texture, international perspective.

The setting

Good work starts with the room.

A restored shipping workshop at Tempozan Harbour gives us daylight, room to sketch and a short walk to Osaka's evening streets.

Contributors

The people making at the edges.

Designers who have shipped at scale, founders who built from scratch and independent voices still close to the work.

From the community

What past guests took home.

Small rooms make space for unusually honest conversations.

“I met people whose work I had followed for years, then spent an afternoon making terrible paper prototypes with them. That intimacy changed the week.”

Useful details

Questions, answered plainly.

Who is the forum for?

Designers, engineers, researchers and independent founders who still spend meaningful time close to their craft.

What is included in the pass?

Both programme days, workshop materials, lunches, two shared dinners and access to the year-round salon calendar.

Can my studio buy several seats?

Yes, though we cap each organisation at four people so the room keeps a broad mix of perspectives.

Is there a reduced community rate?

Eight supported seats are available for independent makers and career changers. Write to us with a short note about your work.

What language is used?

Sessions are in English with Japanese interpretation available for the main talks and printed materials.

Where should I stay?

We share a concise guide to nearby hotels, guest houses and transport routes with every confirmed guest.

Can I transfer my place?

Yes. Tell us at least one week before the forum so we can update dietary needs and attendee notes.

Anything else?

Bring one unfinished question from your current work. Everything else—materials, meals and a good table—is covered.
