About the show

In Made on Harborline, host Delphine Marchetti sits down with the makers behind small, deliberately narrow businesses to hear how the craft actually became the income.

How does someone go from selling at a Saturday market to a workshop that books out in nine minutes? And what does a modest, genuinely sustainable living off your own skill really look like month to month?

Every episode follows one maker's story and the specific, unglamorous decisions behind it — pricing, batch sizes, saying no — from letterpress and fermentation to field recording and repair.

“I stopped trying to be for everyone the week I raised my prices. Forty-one people left. Two hundred and six stayed — and those two hundred and six actually wanted the thing I was making.”

About Harborline

This show is made by Harborline, where we build the storefront, checkout and member area so people who make things can sell what they know.

So far 41,800 makers have opened a shop with us, and the workshops they publish have been taken 6.2 million times — and we're still early.
