Juniper StandardA coastal dry spirit with a wild edge

A clear botanical spirit shaped by sea air, green juniper and late-summer herbs. Distilled slowly, bottled plainly, poured generously.

A standard written by landscape

The recipe begins where stone paths meet salt wind. Every botanical earns its place: resinous juniper for structure, citrus peel for lift, angelica root for a clean, dry finish.

The shore garden

Myrtle and meadowsweet are collected in small lots, then rested overnight before distillation.

The still room

Each batch moves by taste rather than timer. The cut stays narrow and the texture stays bright.

Five botanicals, one clear line

Nothing ornamental. Each ingredient has a job, and each remains legible in the glass.

01 · Coastal juniper

Dry pine, cool stone and a long green finish.

02 · Pink pepper

A soft aromatic warmth without sweetness.

03 · Angelica root

Earth and grip through the center of the spirit.

04 · Lemon peel

Clean brightness at the top of every pour.

05 · Bay leaf

A quiet herbal edge that lingers after citrus.

METHOD / 1898—NOW

Old copper, current hands

The distillery keeps one small direct-fired still because its uneven heat gives the spirit its particular weight. The process is slower, slightly stubborn and worth defending.

Every run is logged by hand. The useful parts of tradition stay; the theatre does not.
