@Joris_NL Thank you, that helps a lot! Yes, that is the one I meant. I took “compact stay” off myself last week because I wasn’t sure we qualified — we measure about 620–660 sq ft and I keep reading the cut-off sits nearer 500.
What still puzzles me is why the second place, the one titled “atelier one-bed”, never landed in the chef’s kitchen category. Would you mind looking at it and telling me what you see? Honestly I think it would hold up under design as well, though I know that call is softer. The other places near us in the design category are not built to the same standard, and half of them aren’t even close by (an hour out, sometimes more). Obviously nothing fits every category at once, but with the new filters I would like to earn the ones we actually deserve and I can’t work out where to start.
@Mareike204 the categories are read off the amenity list, not off the description, so nothing you write in the title will move them.
For a chef’s kitchen the review team looks for the full set: an oven plus a separate cooktop with four or more burners, real counter space and a stocked knife roll. Add anything missing under Amenities → Kitchen and the listing is re-scanned overnight.
