Remote Staff Product Designer
About Kestrel
At Kestrel we're building AI coworkers — not copilots, not chat windows, but teammates that own an outcome end to end.
Our first is Wren, an AI account researcher. She sources and qualifies leads, drafts outreach in each customer's own voice, runs the follow-up sequence, tunes her own targeting, and looks after deliverability. She adjusts as the pipeline shifts, the way a good hire would.
We came out of the Foundry (S25) and have raised $28M from operators and early-stage funds. We're at $6.4M ARR with 340 paying teams, including Marlowe Foods, Tenderloop, and Basketside.
Wren 2.0 is in build right now, stretching how much of a role an AI coworker can actually carry. That's the work we're hiring for.
Role overview
You'll be the second product designer at Kestrel, with real authorship over how people brief, supervise, and trust an AI coworker — and what the next decade of software feels like because of it.
You'll partner with two founders and six engineers, moving from a rough problem statement to a shipped surface in the same week, then sitting with the usage data to decide what earns a second version.
