Level 0 < 6

Run the flow past at least six people so you can start reading how the design behaves outside the studio.

Level 1 6–24

At this range the recurring blockers surface, and the numbers are steady enough to compare two variants without guessing.

Level 2 25–120

Keep recruiting to catch the quieter failures — rarer paths and edge devices only show up once the sample widens.

Level 3 > 120

A sample this size leaves little room for doubt: if a problem existed in the flow, this study has already found it.
