Quick facts
Marlowe Ridge sits along the Alder River in eastern Ashvale County. The Old Foundry Building, once
the region's ironworks, now houses a museum of local industry. The adjacent Wexford Museum of Natural
History keeps a collection of river fossils and pressed prairie flora. West of downtown, Kestrel Hill
Park has three ponds and a set of clay courts. East, the Hallowell Archive and Reading Room displays
letters and photographs tracing the county's first hundred years.
