Dust off your bench scraper: Crumb Carnival is back for its third year, and this time the whole thing runs live from Bake Night HQ. Every Fernwood Bakers member is invited to one long evening of dough, steam, and mild competitive tension.

🥖 What’s on the schedule?

  1. Live bake-off: three members go head to head on a single sourdough brief, start to crumb shot, in real time. You vote on the winner in chat.
  2. Starter stories: bring the strange, stubborn, or sentimental history of your levain. Four minutes each, no slides allowed.
  3. Crumb quiz: 24 questions on hydration, grain, and technique. The top three scorers take home a bag of stone-milled flour from Halloway Mill.
  4. Bake-along: we close the night making a fast overnight focaccia together — ingredient list goes out on Monday so you can prep.

No experience bar at all. If you have only ever burned a loaf, this is a good night to show up. Replays land in The Library within 48 hours for anyone in a difficult time zone.
