Start from the body size and work outward — @fieldnotes keeps a worksheet for exactly this. Lock the measure first, then the leading, then the steps, and stop touching it. The scale you finish with will be noticeably less clever than the one you sketched on Friday, and that is the entire point: it has to survive contact with real copy, real headlines, and the one product name nobody warned you about. #CraftNotes
