Favour people who have shipped and then maintained real products end to end, ideally inside small teams where the work was not neatly divided. Written clarity, ownership of outcomes, and a habit of cutting scope matter more than years served.

A portfolio, a written case, or a public repository showing actual decisions is required. Prefer candidates who have moved between research, design, and delivery, and who are comfortable working across time zones.
