Hi! I'm not 40 yet, but I was around for the pre-smartphone stretch at least and honestly, I kinda miss it! Though I'll admit phones have made a lot of things easier. I can't picture life without being online now 😄

Feeds have caused a mountain of problems. In my own experience alone it wrecked plenty of relationships when I was younger. Whether it was "Who's that who liked your photo? Are you cheating?" or the "You weren't giving me enough attention and he was there to message me back" — none of that existed before.

No. The web was brilliant for a whole lot of reasons.
What I miss is the pre-algorithm internet. I miss 1997–2008.
