That's rough but I completely get it. When I'm in a low stretch I do the same with friendships, I pull back so I'm not dragging anyone down with me. I think in both cases we could stand to be a lot gentler with ourselves. I don't believe my friends or a future partner would read it that way, and if someone did read it that way, then they were never the right fit
