Improvements

  • Reworked the Esc shortcut for dismissing popovers, which used to fight with text fields. Cmd/Ctrl + Esc now closes any panel anywhere in the app.
  • Added a shortcut for moving between panes on any screen — press Tab to cycle through global search, the task rail and the editor.
  • Search now ranks notes and linked documents above loose attachments, pushing lower-signal matches to the end of the list.
  • Better close affordance for resources opened full screen or on touch devices.
  • Smoother first-run onboarding and a noticeably lighter graph view.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a crash introduced in v1.8.3 when global search was closed mid-query.
  • Closing a resource no longer drops you onto a blank page.
  • Collapsed property groups reported a count of zero instead of the real total.
  • Tabs could not be dismissed on touch devices — the close target is back.
