We dye in small lots, note the water temperature, and keep a swatch of every run in the studio ledger. A cushion woven in March can be matched again in November because the recipe never left the room. Cotton is grown in Puglia, wool comes off a flock of 240 in the Cévennes, and the loom is a 1962 rebuild we finished over two winters.
