Your saved stories now have more room. The new Fallow desktop shelf brings the calm, quick rhythm of our reading app to the screen where longer research and careful sorting often happen.
Over the last year, readers told us they wanted a better way to return to what they saved—not another feed to keep up with. We rebuilt the shelf around that request: fewer distractions, clearer states, and faster ways to group what matters.
Everything remains connected. Save on your phone during a commute, then open the same item at your desk with highlights, tags, and reading position intact.
Walk straight into your shelf
Hover to preview, open a story where you left off, or move it to the archive without losing your place. The layout keeps the actions nearby while leaving the reading itself quiet.
Sharing should feel generous
Send a single story, a highlighted passage, or a small collection. Shared links keep your note attached so the recipient understands why the piece mattered to you.
A quieter list for dense libraries
Switch to compact view when titles and dates matter more than covers. Tagging, archiving, and favouriting remain one gesture away, with keyboard focus that stays visible.
Find the thread with tags
Add a tag while reading, then use the sidebar to return to everything under that idea. Your most active tags stay close; search reaches the rest without turning organization into a project.
