Release notes
What’s new and what changed in Hartsgrove.

Today we’re rolling out a quieter, quicker interface for Hartsgrove.
- Single-file sending. Handing over one file is now as fast as handing over a hundred. Go to send.hartsgrove.co, drop it, share the link.
- Redrawn interface. Rebuilt from the ground up to stay out of the way while you get work in front of a client.
- Stack view. Most deliveries are small. Stack view puts a handful of assets front and centre — switch to Grid for the larger sets.
- Passwordless sign-in. New accounts can sign in with a password, or with a one-time link we send to their inbox.
To make the move painless, we’re running both side by side at send.hartsgrove.co
Waves

We’ve been busy. Here’s everything that landed in Hartsgrove over the past few weeks:
- Previews. Press the space bar to preview images and documents without opening them. More formats are on the way.
- Teams on every plan. Plans are simpler now, so anyone can invite people into a shared space — the free plan included.
- Shared with me. Links sent to you no longer go missing. Pull any shared link into your own account and keep it, or hand it on to the team.
- Bring your own bucket. The part that makes Hartsgrove different: connect storage you already pay for. It’s your disk, so we won’t expire a space after 30 days.
- Download as an archive. Long requested, finally here. Take a folder, a selection, or a whole space in one go.
- Transfer manager. Every upload and download in one list, with progress, and a cancel button that actually cancels.

Which plan fits?
There are two: Open and Studio.
Open suits anyone who wants to try Hartsgrove without signing anything. It comes with 3 GB of storage, up to six spaces, and 45 days of temporary storage. You can point it at your own domain, brand the space, send files of any size, see what recipients opened, and set sharing rights per person — all with encryption in transit and at rest.
Studio is for people who live in it. It runs €7 per person per month and adds 2 TB of storage, unlimited spaces, your own connected bucket, and everything in Open.
Runway

We’re glad to hand over the newest round of changes to Hartsgrove. The team has been heads-down on this one for a while.
Here’s what’s new:
- We’re introducing paid plans for individuals and teams. Until now every space expired after 30 days; on a paid plan a space stays until you delete it.
- Storage controls. A new settings page shows how much room you’re using, broken down by space. Paid members can also connect a bucket of their own — we’re starting with Ashcombe Object Store and Corvid Vault.
- Better branding settings. Preview a wallpaper as you set it, and pick a light or dark shell to sit against it.
- Performance work behind the scenes. We moved hosts, and the whole interface answers faster.
- Responsiveness. A first step toward proper handheld support — the navigation now adapts rather than overflowing.
Today we’re opening the private beta. The goal is to find out what breaks, what’s missing, and what you’d rather we had done differently.
Request access from the home page. We’ll be letting people in over the next few weeks — if you’re picked, an email with setup instructions will land in your inbox.
